KQ Dixie is a professional-grade 6-Operator FM synthesizer that faithfully models the iconic synthesizer that emerged in the 1980s.

FM synthesis produces extraordinary sounds through the manipulation of frequency modulation, yielding rich and dazzling tones that analog synthesizers simply cannot replicate. This method generates intricate waveforms using straightforward modulations, akin to the principles applied in radio technology. The synthesizer achieved widespread popularity during the 1980s.

This app grants you the freedom to create sounds by harnessing 156 voice parameters. The majority of these parameters are fully compatible with the renowned DX7, with the exception of multi-timbral functionality, filters, and delay effects.

KQ Dixie is Audio Unit v3 compatible and supports multiple-output configurations when using "KQ Dixie Multi". It seamlessly integrates with Audiobus and is Inter-App Audio compatible. With its extensive set of 32 algorithms, you have an array of options at your disposal for shaping your sound.
